Updating Your Website Header

Website headers are an essential kingpin of your website theme, usually handled by your web designer or part of your blog or Joomla template. Of course, most of us capable of opening our graphics editor can muster up what we feel is ‘just ok’ but often never satisfied by any end result.
Nowadays the placement of the website header is quite accessible to the majority of website owners and switching the full image is very easy… especially with the rise of blogs, Joomla and all the other CMS applications, it’s all web 2.0 and we should all be able to have it easier.
Ok…whether its a blog or what?….we can view our our website header (which btw is usually a background image.) just right click>view background image. The reason it is a background image is because websites are increasingly becoming interchangeable and templateable applications and with the advancement of faster internet and improving browser capablities, the background image website header is becoming the norm.
Amother good reason is that website logos are often made of transparent png (Portable Network Graphics) and will sit nicely on any image …thanks to IE’s final acceptance of transparency in their latest browsers, something Firefox was way ahead with to the delight of webmasters everywhere.
Yet another development that affected website headers was the widespread increase in screen resolution from the old 800 pixel width to the now 1024 pixel width. That horrible thin website has finally made way for more space more content more header and for some folks simply resizing the width of the website in the code would create a need for a new website header design, so we at YooZing.com was thinking about addressing this issue with a selection of 975 headers and some guidance along the way.
